In 1957, the US government strategically placed beer bottles near two atomic-explosion test sites in Nevada to determine if beer found near the explosion would be safe to drink. Their results, published in, "The Effect of Nuclear Explosions on Commercially Packaged Beverages" states that bomb beer is, in fact, clean and drinkable. Cleary, we have our priorities straight

A cruel yet brilliant winemaker has taken Prince Harry’s Vegas escapades and turned them into a wine. Sheldon’s Wine, the creators of the new Royal Blush Rose, describe their drink as, “a vivid pale strawberry pink…laced with an exotic twist.” Yum

Advertised by Archie McPhee as: “for those evenings when you're craving goose liver but don't want to get off the couch”

Second place went to our favorite Philly chef Marc Vetri and pilot Brad Spence, who flew a 16-foot sausage plane called the “Beast of Amis” 34 feet off the dock. When it plunged into the water, the words, “eat me” floated visibly from the tail of the plane

Now you can have your cake and wear it too. Shay Aaron, an Israeli artist, is crafting some adorable food-themed jewelry. The food is impressively accurate, and it will probably keep you hungry all day too
