In celebration of the new book, Street Eats, by renowned food photographer, Alan “Battman” Batt, 150 New York culinary masters came together for Tuesday night’s Great Gathering of Chefs 2012 event at the Prince George Ballroom which helped raise money for Action Against Hunger.
While VIP ticket holders were able to meet and greet with the likes of Michael Anthony, David Burke, Jean-Georges, Marc Murphy, Dan Kluger, and Michael Laiskonis during a pre-event book signing, all those who attended enjoyed delicious takes on classic street food favorites by some of New York’s best restaurants including SHO Shaun Hergatt, The Lion, Blue Smoke, Junoon, Telepan, Spice Market, and The Harrison.
