Naked Cowboys stole the show during Wednesday’s party at Alton Lane. Ok, so no real naked cowboys were present for the oyster event at the bespoke menswear showroom, however those in attendance did enjoy slurping down delicious Naked Cowboy oysters as they mingled in the bachelor pad-styled space.
Oyster lovers gathered at the showroom and sampled three oyster varieties from Blue Island Oyster Company for a special cocktail party hosted by Underground Eats. As guests enjoyed a boozy vodka punch by Vikingfjord Vodka and sparkling wine by One Hope Wine, chef Ryan Tate and his fellow shucker tirelessly shucked over 500 Blue Point, Hurricane Island, and Naked Cowboy oysters.
If ever in need to prove your manhood and gain respect from the ladies (and friends), we suggest perfecting your shucking technique. If the swarms of woman surrounding chef Tate last night as he shucked oyster after oyster is of any indication, than perfecting this skill will definitely have its benefits.
