And the winner is… Seamus Mullen! The chef from Tertulia flipped his burger into first place at the Montauk Superburger event over the weekend. Many New York City culinary insiders and chefs joined vacationing tourists at the Montaulk Yacht Club for Saturday’s burger competition. Other competing chefs included Empellon’s Alex Stupak, 2nd place winner Harold Moore from Commerce, Zak Pelaccio of Fatty Crab, and Mehdi Brunet-Benkritly from Fedora. The victorious Mullen has now earned himself a spot to compete in the high-profile Burger Bash during NYC’s Food & Wine Festival in October.
